Paris
No matter how many times one visits Paris, they will always discover something new.
One could only imagine how many romantic stories have played out on top of the “Pont-Neuf” bridge with its beautiful view, overlooking the romantic river Seine.
Completed in 1345 A.D. and dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Notre-Dame cathedral, mythical home of Quasimodo and the place where Napoleon crowned his empress, is Paris’ historical heart, where millions of Catholics have worshiped throughout the centuries.
Many Parisians refer to it as the star, but notoriety aside, the Arc de Triomphe is one of Europe’s most beautiful monuments. Commissioned in 1806 by Napoleon, shortly after his victory at Austerlitz, and finished in 1836, the monument paid tribute to his military success.
Formerly a royal palace, the Louvre museum boasts one of the world’s richest art collections, where you can find the Winged Victory of Samothrace as well is Leonardo da Vinci’s timeless piece, the Mona Lisa.
Stroll along the Champs Elisees and shop at world famous designer boutiques or visit Place Vendome whose 17th century urban architecture is one of the worlds most opulent.
